Welcome to Dr M Ashraf MBBS MRCGP DFSRH DRCOG Dr Ashraf finished her GP training in 2014. She has experience in a variety of medical specialities. Her specialist interests include complex care, women’s and sexual health. She enjoys doing family planning and menopausal clinics. She works to empower a holistic, pragmatic and individualised approach to General Practice and enjoys the one-to-one interaction with her patients. Outside of work, Dr Ashraf enjoys cooking, reading books, and planning the next adventure somewhere.

Can see patients who have minor illnesses such as Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), chest infections, Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) sexual health, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and some skin conditions

Nurses

Our qualified nurses provide a full range of services Monday to Friday by appointment. This includes treatment room duties i.e dressings, cervical smears, childhood immunisations. We also offer a triage service with nurses qualified to deal with minor illnesses including; urinary infections, throat and ear infections. You are recommended to make an appointment with the nurse for asthma, diabetes and COPD, as our nurses specialise in the management of these diseases.

I am the newly appointed Communications Lead for the surgery. I am very excited about my new role, having formerly worked as a Communications and Patient & Public Involvement Manager for Maldon and South Chelmsford Primary Care Trust (PCT) and then for NHS Mid Essex. In 2011, I gained a diploma in Public Relations under the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). I am passionate about engaging with patients and I have worked in the NHS for many years including Paediatrics, Mental Health and Stroke & Elderly Medicine.
